The marriage seminar

 Hey Everyone The unit hosted a marriage seminar recently, it was the closest thing to freedom I've had in 16 years . They chose married men who hadn't been in any trouble and allowed them 8 hours with their spouse. It was held in the visitation room. It was an amazing experience. To be that close to my wife after all these years of a table dividing us, was different. No officers hanging over our shoulders making us uncomfortable, or watching the clock for that two hour mark where our time together ends. Just us for 8 hours. This experience was a eye opener. It made me want to be with her more than I ever had. It made me appreciate the comfort of my woman, the touch of my woman, and her smile of the freedom she got with her husband. The wives have it just as hard as we do (emotionally) and it showed on each an every wife's face. I felt like a human being for the first time in years. This older couple that hosted it was very nice and open .I learned a lot about myself and things I can do better. I also learned things about my wife that helped. One thing that I loved was them saying it's OK to argue. Lol. We needed this and GOD knew it .We were blessed to get picked. Through all the negative things going on around here this was right on time. If you and your partner are experiencing difficulties and truly love one another try something like this maybe even counseling. Don't let pride break up something beautiful. Oh yea and I found out that my brain works the same way a woman's does an my wife's works the same way a mans does .Crazy huh? I think it's lies. lol. Well take care and LOVE SOMEONE.
